Barbie is the theme for the first in a series of Gap x Mattel collaborations
The next item on the list is Hot Wheels.

Gap Inc., Mattel Inc. have collaborated on new apparel inspired from Mattel's brand portfolio. The first collection to be released is a Barbie line.
Gap (NYSE-GPS) describes the Barbie collection as 'the first in a series of upcoming Gap x Mattel products drops' The Gap x Barbie Collection will include tees and skirts for all ages, as well as accessories, button-down shirts, denim, logo hoodies and accessories.
The collection is set to be released just before the much-anticipated Barbie film starring Margot Robertbie and Ryan Gosling opens in theaters on July 21.
Mattel, a toy manufacturer, also produces films and television, games and digital experiences, live events, music, and other content around its brands. Greta Gerwig is the director of a new Warner Bros. Pictures movie. Mattel is also developing films around the American Girl, Barney and Hot Wheels brands, as well as Uno, Masters of the Universe, Uno, and Masters of the Universe.
Barbie's apparel collection is available on gap.com, in Gap stores worldwide, and through Mattel Creations. Mattel Creations is Mattel’s direct-to consumer platform and collectors' marketplace.
Customers with Gap credit cards will be able to shop online for the new collections before their official release dates.
The company announced that additional Gap x Mattel collaborative products will be released later this year. Hot Wheels is next on the list.

Mattel also owns Fisher-Price, Thomas & Friends and other Mattel-owned brands in El Segundo. Gap has its headquarters in San Francisco, and it operates over 3,300 stores that carry the Gap, Athleta Old Navy, and Banana Republic brand names.
