Dow Falls, Logs Worst Week Since March 2023

Inflation concerns and geopolitical uncertainty had a negative impact on markets, leading to a week of losses in various sectors, including banking, energy, and real estate. On Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by approximately 476 points, or 1.2%. Throughout the week, the blue-chip index experienced a loss of about 921 points, or 2.4%, marking its largest weekly decline since March 2023. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite also finished the week lower, falling by 1.5% and 1.6% respectively.
