Singapore's prime minister Lee Hsien Loong tested positive for Covid-19 just days after his return from visits to South Africa, Kenya and other countries.

Lee posted on Facebook Monday that she was feeling fine but her doctors had advised her to isolate herself until she became asymptomatic. They have prescribed me Paxlovid as an antiviral drug because of my advanced age.

Lee, 71 years old, has served as the prime minister of this city-state in Southeast Asia since 2004. According to Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was in South Africa May 14-19.
