HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge to leave Biden administration later this month

President Joe Biden announced on Monday that the Housing and Urban Development Secretary will leave the administration. The Secretary, Marcia Fudge, stated in a resignation letter her belief in government working for the people. During her tenure, Fudge celebrated achievements such as removing barriers for homebuyers with student loan debt and helping families avoid foreclosure. Fudge plans to retire and return home to Ohio. Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman will serve as acting secretary upon Fudge’s departure.
